Dr. Ruth Rooz (Stern)

I am a Lecturer in Accounting at the department of Economics and Business Administration of Ariel University and a Visiting Scholar at NYU Stern School of Business. My research interests broadly focus on how information is formed and how it affects capital market participants, using empirical settings such as family firms, financial distress, regulatory interventions, and start-up companies. I also examine how AI-driven changes in the information environment influence market participants and intermediaries.

I have a PhD in accounting and finance from Hebrew University. Prior to my PhD studies, I worked as a CPA at KPMG.
